Terms of Use.
The terms for using the Gaia Symbiosis website and tools. Last updated 30 October 2026.
The short version
- The tools are free to use for your own job search and personal use.
- What you write is yours. We only use it to run the tools for you, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
- AI helps write your documents, but you check them before you send them. AI can get things wrong.
- Job and visa sponsor information is general information, not migration or legal advice.
1. Who we are
Gaia Symbiosis is a business based in Albury, NSW, Australia, operated by Indika Amarasinghe ("we", "us"). By using this website or its tools, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. Contact us at iamarasinghe96@gmail.com.
2. The tools
- CV Prompt Builder (GetHired): builds your profile, prepares prompts for an AI assistant of your choice, and turns its replies into Word documents. It also tracks your job applications.
- Job Search Assistant: searches live Australian job ads and shows which employers appear on the Standard Business Sponsor list.
- SubSync: shows film subtitles on a second screen, in sync with what you are watching, with optional translation.
Some features need you to sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure; anything done through your signed-in account is treated as done by you.
3. Your content
You own everything you put into the tools: your profile, job descriptions, documents and notes. You let us store and process it only so the tools can work for you, including sending it to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy when you use a feature that needs them. Only put in information you have the right to use, and don't upload other people's personal information without their permission.
4. AI and your documents
Some features use AI to read, check or write text. AI can misread a document, miss a detail or word something inaccurately. You are responsible for checking every CV, cover letter and imported profile before you use it, and for making sure everything you send an employer is true. We don't guarantee interviews, job offers or any other outcome.
5. Job ads and visa sponsor information
Job ads come from Adzuna and other third-party sources, and sponsor matches are based on the published Standard Business Sponsor list. This information can be incomplete, out of date or matched to the wrong employer. Being on the list does not mean an employer will sponsor you for a particular role. It is general information only, not migration, legal or financial advice. Check the details with the employer, the Department of Home Affairs or a registered migration agent before you rely on them.
6. Subtitles
SubSync is for your personal viewing. Subtitle files you load or download (for example from OpenSubtitles) belong to their owners and may have their own terms. Only use subtitles you are allowed to use.
7. Fair use
Please don't misuse the tools. That includes trying to get around sign-in, security or usage limits, accessing other people's data, overloading the service, scraping it automatically, or using it for anything unlawful. We may limit or suspend access to protect the service and its users.
8. Availability and changes
The tools are offered as they are. We work to keep them running and accurate, but we may change, pause or stop a feature, and outside services they depend on may be unavailable. Keep your own copies of documents that matter, for example with Export CV Bank or by downloading your applications.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or tools, including lost job opportunities or decisions made on the information they show.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the tools at any time and delete everything saved to your account under How it works › Your data › Delete all my data in the CV Prompt Builder.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
12. Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Using the tools after a change means you accept the updated terms.
